 I think that growing up in the countryside is better for children than growing up in a big city. Actually, I grew up in the countryside and I used to live in a big city when I was a university student. Based on my experience, growing up in a countryside is really helpful for children and here are some specific reasons for that.

 First is regarding gratitude for eating. In countryside, you can watch agriculture field and know how hard agriculture is. When I was a child, I learned how crops grew and it gave me gratitude for eating. If children grow up near agriculture field, they would appreciate nature.

 Second is regarding large space for play. Someone said that even big company such as Apple and Microsoft were just garage companies. Suitable size space for children is really helpful for their creativity. Usually, houses in rural area were larger than houses in a big city because the cost of rent is not high. In large house and yard, children can enjoy creativity plays and it improve them a lot.

 Of course, you may think that living in urban area is better for children because they easily can find attractive things but I think that these things tend to be related to commercialism so it may bring children bad effect.

 Now I'm singe so I don't have child. In the future, I want to live in the countryside with my family and I will teach my children about gratitude for nature.
