 I oppose this plan. When I was a high school student, I used to go the high school in my community so I know the cons of this plan. There are some specific reasons for that.

 First is regarding easiness of access. My community is in rural area and only we have one local station. Addition to that, train doesn't come frequent. So I think that new school would not be attractive for students.

 Second is regarding falling population. In Japan, birth ratio is not enough high and the population is getting smaller. Of course, the number of students is decreasing in my hometown too. So I guess that school would not be able to get enough students.

 Of course, I am really interested in how teachers teach students in that school and I want to listen to that system of education. But in this situation, that school would not be able to maintain even though the system of education is good.

volleyball club when I was a university student and I spent a lot of
time at our university library. Based on my experience, I think
universities should spend more money for their university libraries.
Here are some reasons for that.

 

 First is regarding the cost of books. In a university, they offer a lot of majors so univerisity libraries should have many kinds of books. Most of these books are technical and these are very expensive. In addition to that, libraries should buy new books to keep up with new technologies.

 

 Second is regarding environment for studying. Our university has a big library. My friends and I spent a lot of time there. That place
was really comfortable for me and it encouraged my study. If universities provide great space to their students, it will keep their motivation high and students would encourage each other to study at the library.

 I prefer to live in a big town. Actually, now I live in a small hometown and I had been living in a big town when I was university students so I know the pros and cons of them.

 

 First is regarding meeting people. About 2 years ago, I used to go to a big town every week to study English and there were many people who like studying English. And studying with them really encouraged me to learn English. If I live in a big town, I would be able to attend English classes a lot.

 

 Second is regarding activities. In Tokyo, there are many active places and those attract many people. When I was a university student, I used to go attractive places often and it was really fun for me.

 

 Of course, someone would think that houses in a big city are usually small because the cost for rents in urban area is really high. But I don't mind about that because I got used to live in a small house easily when I started to live in Tokyo.

 

 These days, thanks to the advancement of new technology, the society changing speed is very rapidly. So I think that living in a big city is really helpful for me to catch up with the new time.

 I agree this opinion. In Japan. most of families have more than one television and there are many funny and interesting television programs. I think it prevent having conversation among family and friends and here are some examples of them.

 First is regarding family. I usually eat dinner with my parents and we watch television programs at that time. Most of the time, we don't talk and we watch the screen seriously. If there are not television, we would talk more.

Second is regarding friends. In Japan, many young people spend a lot of time to watch TV programs and I think it reduce the time to have conversations with their friends. Actually, one of my friends always enjoy TV after he finish his work.

 Of course, Television programs could give us good  conversational kicking-off points. But I think there are more important topics to talk around our real life and having conversations about it would broaden our outlook.

 Some NPO started to spread the idea that to have non-electricity hours during the Earth Day. I think this idea is great opportunity to rethink about relationship between communication and  television.

 First is regarding Japanese movies. There are many slim actors and actresses in the screen and they are admired by many people. So many people try to become more slimmer even though it is not healthy. Thus,we should find new good example who is not only beauty but also healthy in movies.

  Second is regarding television. In Japan, there are many television programs that featured on how to loose weight. These programs always provide new ways of diet and many people follow those ways even though they are not healthy.

 Of course, I want to loose my weight and become more fashionable but excessive diet would cause many health problem. So we should know ideal body figure, not related to commercialism, to keep our body healthy.
